Paul Templeton’s "I’m On A Roll" Album Release – Thursday, October 3rd

Get ready for a special evening of local music as Paul Templeton releases his second album, I’m On A Roll, at the Voortman Studio Theatre in the Ancaster Memorial Arts Centre. This highly anticipated concert will take place on Thursday, October 3rd, at 7:30 PM. At just $30 per ticket, this is a perfect opportunity to support local talent and enjoy a night of exceptional live music.

Paul Templeton, a lifelong Ancaster resident, has deep roots in the community. His journey in music began with local open mics and playing guitar at Marshall Memorial United Church, where he’s been performing since 2008. After personal tragedy struck in 2011, Paul found his songwriting voice, leading to the release of his first album. Now, with years of songwriting and personal growth behind him, Paul is ready to share his second collection of original songs with his hometown audience.

Backed by some of Hamilton’s finest musicians, including Carl Jennings, Tim Jennings, and Matt Gormley of Freedom Train, Paul’s live performance promises to be an unforgettable experience. Pedal steel guitar virtuoso C.J. Altmann will also be joining the lineup, bringing his unique sound to the stage and adding depth to Paul’s heartfelt songs.

The album, I’m On A Roll, is a blend of 60s and 70s influences mixed with Paul’s personal take on themes like friendship, love, loss, and fast cars. The title track, “I’m On A Roll,” is a high-energy anthem about love and speed, while other tracks explore more introspective emotions. Paul’s ability to weave personal stories into universally relatable themes makes this concert one that music lovers of all kinds will enjoy.

Opening the show will be Annette Haas, a talented singer-songwriter who has been gaining recognition for her authentic performances. Annette’s recent Loretta Lynn tribute at the Ancaster Memorial Arts Centre captivated audiences, and she’s sure to set the tone for a memorable evening.

This event is more than just an album release; it’s a celebration of community, music, and the spirit of Ancaster. The Voortman Studio Theatre, located in the heart of the Ancaster Memorial Arts Centre, offers the perfect intimate setting for this unique concert experience.
