Many of you will be familiar with our home town ‘Renaissance Man’ as a world renowned singer-songwriter, film composer, author and actor but in this intimate evening, Ian will take you on a journey … a path of love over a lifetime.
Two sopranos, with different musical vocabularies, are featured in composer Reena Esmail's glorious composition about sisterhood across cultures. Dvorak's cheerful 8th symphony and the sinuous melodies of Sibelius' Belshazzar's Feast add zesty elements to this evening’s musical mix.

This one day watercolour workshop will examine the various techniques that can be used in watercolour painting. We will focus on an approach that emphasizes the treatment of negative space in a Still Life composition. Tuesday March 4, 1pm to 3pm $40 (all materials are included)
This two day course will examine the creation of the illusion of space in drawing. Tonal drawing, one point and two point perspective will be taught using pencil, charcoal and conte crayon. Each class will be two hours in length. Thursday February 20 and 27 1pm to 3pm $60 (all materials are included)
Using each student's choice of landscape subject matter, this introductory/intermediate acrylic painting course will focus on the creation of a 16" X 20" painting on canvas. With an emphasis on texture, brushwork and colour mixing the work will evolve as an individual interpretation of the scene selected. Wednesdays February 5 to March 12 (DAY CLASS) 1pm to 4pm $180 (All materials are included)
