Ha-chan, Shake Your Booty!, a delirious gem... has got it all: big laughs, poignancy, a tear or two, Dirty Dancing homages and some truly out-there twists. — John Oleksinski / New York Post

Josef Kubota Wladyka’s third feature film is a playful and whimsical confection, a deft blend of escapist kitsch and the real emotional heft that Kikuchi brings to the role. — Wendy Ide / Screen International

With an engaging star and a story that leads to a touching, optimistic ending, Wladyka has created a little gem likely to find its audience. — Caryn James / Hollywood Reporter

Shimmering and sparkling, Ha-chan carries the rarest maturity about sex, love, grief, and allowing yourself to take life one step at a time.
